Solar Avenue is a wide street built for people, not cars. The lush vegetation of the rain gardens and the timber decked walkway means this car-free landscape maintains a sense of urban buzz without the traffic noise and pollution that is too common in other urban streets. Residents can plant their own rain gardens to give each home along the avenue its own unique identity.
The Secret Garden is a secluded area down by the river, where the only people passing will be the residents of the 22 houses which make up the secret garden, creating a close community where everyone knows each other.
With over forty trees peppering the river bank the Wind in the Willows will be the perfect place for older children to explore and play near the riverside. It is an open, green space with shared gardens and jetties for outside dining or entertaining.
The Otter is the Climate Innovation District’s number one resident. You’ll see him taking his morning swim while you’re relaxing by the riverbank.
